Late last year, we received an invite to screen a very special movie at the Bandito Brothers’ studio in LA. A few of our good friends had rolls in the film, so we thought it would be a lot of fun to make the drive up and watch our brothers on the big screen. Little did we know that we were about to view one of the most thrilling, and monumental films of our time.
The movie was called "Act of Valor", and it was the closest hollywood depiction of the teams that any of us had ever seen! Thrilling from the moment the lights dimmed, and keeping us on the edge of our seats throughout the entire film. This was proving to be a motion picture that would give the average American a rare glimpse into a very sacred brotherhood.
This movie has been described in many different ways; Epic, life changing, mind blowing, patriotic… There are many types of reactions to this film within the community. Some men come out pumped up and ready to step onto the battlefield, while for others it may bring tears to their eyes as it hits close to home.
"Act of Valor" premieres tonight at theatre’s across the nation. If you have a chance to attend a showing, do not miss the opportunity. You have not seen ANYTHING like this, and likely never will again. This is a MUST see!
