Got a fast response from JLP, which is great, shows that he cares and he told me to clean it with silicone/lube which worked to an extent, I still see some discoloration like an incomplete anodization process but thats me being very picky. Almost 17 minutes of action from The Depot, in Glasgow, Scotland. The Depot is the biggest fully indoor Airsoft site in the world with over 210,000 sq ft of game play area.
There are a few areas at The Depot which have so little lighting, all photographers & people with video cameras avoid them. But a lot of action takes place in these areas & I still go inside for a look, it is cameraman hell, but I like it. There is a funny outtake at the very end of the video.

Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. I would advise that before playing Airsoft at any site, you make sure it has insurance cover for all players. Always wear eye protection when playing Airsoft, even if you are just playing in your backyard. Airsoft is non-lethal, no-one has ever been injured using these. It is not possible to convert these items to use anything other than little plastic BBs. Above all, Always play safe.

I was able to finish recording the VEPR 39 vid and thought I would showcase the Geissele Super Tricon Trigger installed in my Special Ops Tactical AR. Mother Nature and the Grounds crew had other plans. As soon as I finished packing up my truck the rain came pouring down. So the setup crew for the weekend matches should be credited with saving my camera equipment.

Going to finish the video at another range, finding time to do it at VCGHC is proving to be difficult. But I will get ti done! Without a doubt!

I have had this gun for a couple weeks now, and Mother Nature is really playing games with me. Everytime I head out, she hits me with a storm of great Magnitude. Quite annoying. Today I was able to squeeze out a few shots before it got dangerous. This isnt what I had in mind, but I decided to work with it and get some content up for you folks to enjoy (I hope you enjoy).

The Vepr-39. Why buy a vepr you ask? Brace for the knowledge bomb!!!!!!!

1.5 mm thick steel receiver which is fully heat treated and has a scope mount rail on the left side.

A machined RPK style front trunnion which is hot hammer forged.

An incredibly accurate cold hammer forged heavy barrel which is heat treated for eight hours then annealed and chromed under vacuum to produce the highest quality chrome lined barrel possible.

Each barrel is threaded to the Russian standard 14×1 left hand then pinned, capped and spot welded.

The 1000 meter rear sight with instant windage click adjustment is standard on all Vepr Rifles.

The Beautiful Walnut furniture is hand finished to offer outstanding comfort and balance.

Forged steel bolt with a spring loaded firing pin and 2 locking lugs. The Vepr 308 Nato (.308 Win) and 7.62x54R have 3 locking lugs for even more strength and accuracy.

Overall I’m happy with most of the parts minus the sights, they should have been one color not discolored especially at this price, I’m sorta surprised to be honest at how bad they look up close.

Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. I would advise that before playing Airsoft at any site, you make sure it has insurance cover for all players. Always wear eye protection when playing Airsoft, even if you are just playing in your backyard. Airsoft is non-lethal, no-one has ever been injured using these. It is not possible to convert these items to use anything other than little plastic BBs. Above all, Always play safe.

The two-peg spool knit can be found in ‘The Ashley Book of Knots’ as knot #2878, a Square Loop Sinnet, along with other variations.

For quick deployment of the cord, should you need to repurpose it from the lanyard, just cut off one end below the lanyard knot, unlock the knit by pulling the end strand out of the loop, and pull to quickly unravel the length of cord.

Working with just two pegs is similar to using a ‘lucet’, a two-pronged fork cord making textile tool, dating back at least as far as the middle ages. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucet

How much cord is needed for a particular project varies by cord diameter and the spool peg spacing you intend to use, how many pegs being used, so although there may be a mathematical formula for each instance, it would be different for every project, I usually just overestimate what I think I’ll need and add more to that, better to have too much than to come up short on a project. If you do come up short, you could always sew/melt/glue/knot in more cord to continue.

You can improvise and make your own spools or buy them at craft stores/online, but making your own is recommended to get the knit however tight or loose, stiff or flexible as you prefer. You can use nails, cotter pins, bobby pins along with PVC pipe, epoxy, and tape, or make them from wood, aluminum, steel, or toilet paper roll cardboard tubes and popsicle sticks. ;)

Recently, Daniel got to play in a MegaGame, and recorded some awesome footage. He was on the smaller team, and was playing against about 60-70 other players with only his squad of 30. Using his extremely custom Noveske M4, he was able to help out his squad and delay the other team enough to win. Since PolarStar Airsoft’s "Project X" in currently in the early prototype stage of its development, we unfortunately will not be able to provide an official answer to all questions related to this project since some aspects of the system are subject to change before it is ready to enter production. However, we would like to try and answer some of the common questions which have surfaced after its initial announcement.

"What is it?"
Project X is a full mechanical, select fire, pneumatic drop-in system for an AEG gearbox. The system has no electronics so there is no need for a FCU, wire harnesses or battery. The key purpose of this system is to be able to operate reliably in any climate and weather condition you can throw at it, up to and including being completely submerged in water.

"Does it have Blowback?"
The term "Blowback" generally implies the model mimics the operation of a real firearm with a recoiling bolt and open breech. That being established, no, it is not a blowback. However, being a fully mechanical system it does have some level of recoil feedback although not on the level of a full blown GBBR. The feedback felt could be compared to what you get from a EBB rifle.

"How much is it?"
At this time we are unable to give an official answer on this since it is still in development. It is being developed as a sister product to the Fusion Engine with the same level of craftsmanship and quality so one can expect it to be priced comparably.

"When will it be available?:
No official release date is available at this time although we do hope to have it available later on this year.

"Is it adjustable for FPS and ROF?"
Yes, both the muzzle velocity and cyclic rate are adjustable. However, the system is self regulating so FPS will not be adjusted by simply changing the input pressure. Cyclic rate has the potential to be adjusted internally or externally. Velocity adjustments will need to be done internally.

"Do you need an Air Rig?"
The system was originally designed to run straight off of an SLP tank but we have determined that it will operate best at lower pressures similar to the Fusion Engine so an air rig will most likely still be required.

"Can it run on CO2?"
Since there are no solenoids which could potentially be damaged by spikes in pressure, CO2 will most likely be a viable option as a power source.

"What does it fit into?"
It is being designed to fit into the shell of a TM spec AEG gearbox. The first available option will of course be for the Version 2 and configured for M4/M16 series but we do plan to produce other models in the future.

"Is it replacing the Fusion Engine?"
No, it is not replacing the Fusion Engine. "Project X" is simply another product we are developing to answer the demand for an all weather, waterproof, drop-in conversion for an AEG gearbox.

The SMP is a drop in electro-pneumatic cylinder unit which fits into an existing gearbox. It utilizes a direct solenoid fired mechanism which reduces the number and complexity of parts. While others have experimented with direct solenoid fired designs with limited success, the key is the Wolverine Airsoft springless imbalanced poppet design. This design is currently in the process of being patented.

This system has a variety of advantages:

-Engineered, manufactured, and assembled in the USA!
-One moving part (excluding the solenoid valve)
-Reduced number of critical seals
-Improved air efficiency over comparable systems

Why it is important in airsoft to accept a "50/50 hit" when unsure…

It is very common to not feel hits. It happens to us all from time to time. How can you know you shot cleanly?

Example: both of the guys in this film were clearly hit before they fired, but they both refused to take it.

I don’t get the slightest bit angry at such things, airsoft is not that important, but we have standing order in my team that all potential 50/50’s are taken without arguing about it – so when they said "I felt nothing" I walked. Consequently my team play airsoft as calm as zen masters.

I personally think that is a very good rule to have.

Will airsoft ever overcome this mistaken non-hit taking and make it to a proper sport? Or should we all just blat the hell out of each other on full auto?

A troubling challenge, especially for those on the production/sales end of the paracord tying community, short lengths of cord are often left discarded, or worst yet, thrown away. But as my How to Make Paracord Jellyfish Fobs video (utilizing 1 foot lengths of cord) and now this video (utilizing 2 and 3 foot lengths of cord) will show, there’s truly no such thing as a "wasted" length of paracord. Quite the contrary, as you’ll soon see, with a little design ingenuity, nearly all cords lengths can be successfully used.

Put pretty simply, this is a solid grenade launcher similar to many others in function and design. Constructed of metal, this launcher features full COLT trademarks engraved into the side, as well as a metal firing pin to launch BBs out of airsoft M203 shells. This stubby launcher allows for better fitting on CQB style AEGs, a lighter grenade launcher, and for, in my opinion, a slightly more unique look. The only issue is that longer grenade shells will not fit, so be careful when purchasing them!

Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. Arguably the most realistic airsoft AK on the market, certainly the best built AK GBBR out there. I bought mine from Milspec Solutions, it came with a Samoon Recoil kit at my request. The kit adds an extra 40% of felt recoil. It chronographs at 350 on a .20g BB on Abbey Ultra. It’s an awesome bit of kit. I urge anyone considering one to buy one from either Milspec Solutions or Airsoft World, they are 10/10 rifles. It’s without doubt my favourite airsoft GBBR to date.

The rifle belongs to my friend James. It started life as a TM M4 SOPMOD, then had a G&P M16A2/M203 front end modded to fit, and an ACM A2 stock fitted over the buffer/stock tube. It runs from a 7.4v lipo housed in the stock. Many thanks to James for allowing me to film it. NOTE: I own the commercial use rights to the music used, music by Johobo2 on Newgrounds.
