Sad news from Ambush Wargames and an appeal

by Arnie

Paul (www.ai-mag.com) gave me a ring with the news, and I’ve agreed for obvious reasons to add this post for him. The short of it is that Ambush was burnt down (in what sadly sounds like an arson attack) and Paul has been doing to rounds off his own back to help the owner out. Needless to say if you are in a position to help out by donating kit, or some of your time then please do contact Paul. Here’s the full details:

Hi guys,

I just thought that you should all know hat Ambush Adventures site was burnt down last night. To my understanding the Safe Zone building have been raised to the ground. Which means that he has lost everything AEG’s, mags, clothing, masks, you name it, has all gone up in smoke.

As you can imagine Charlie is still in shock and I am sorry to have to inform people that play at Ambush and know Charlie in this way.

I make it no secret that Charlie is a very old dear friend of mine and to be honest Im still in shock.

I have gone out to the industry and I cant believe the amount of support there is out there for Ambush.

I would personally like to thank:

  • Airsoft World
  • Airsoft Armoury
  • Combat South
  • Viper
  • TLSFX
  • Enola Gay
  • The Out Doors Men

For their generosity for supplying gear and equipment so that Charlie can start to re build what is a favourite site amongst a lot of players.

I know that I’m gonna end up with a fat lip for this post, but I would ask anyone that’s not doing anything either this Friday or Sunday to get down to the site and start to help Charlie rebuilt.

Thanks for reading this post and lets all club together as there is an Airsoft brother out there that needs all of our help .

If any one has a broken AEG or wants to donate any spare cash then please get in contact with me here at AI and help rebuild one of the oldest sites here in the UK
