Highlander has always been a strong advocate of reducing waste and decreasing our carbon foot print. So, although we send you our warmest Christmas Greetings for the festive period, we will not be sending Christmas cards this year. Instead we will be making a donation to The John Muir Trust. a very fine charity that we feel gives something back to our the people who use our equipment on the hills.

Leading guardian of wild land in the UK, the John Muir Trust safeguards some of the finest mountain, moorland and coastal wild lands in the country; including Ben Nevis, Schiehallion, part of the Cuillin on Skye, Quinag in Assynt and Sandwood Bay in Sutherland.

Through conserving, campaigning and inspiring people, the John Muir Trust seeks to ensure that wild land is protected and that wild places are valued everyone.

Highlander has become a Gold Corporate Member of the Trust, and will continue to offer its support throughout 2010.

Join the John Muir Trust or make a donation, become a guardian of wild land, and help protect the UK’s wild landscapes for the future.
