Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
Huge thanks to everybody who played or crewed at our annual GI weekender – definitely our best one yet! We’re planning to continue with the story created over the weekend and run a second event in May next year.
This weekend we are at Tuddenham for the monthly skirmish open event. It’s going to be busy so make sure you book rental equipment if you need it. Walk-on players always accepted on the day, although it would be helpful for game planning if you could use the free registration option on the website to indicate your attendance.
If the weather continues to be hot we will need to chrono all gas powered pistols at the weekend to ensure everyone’s safety, we may also have to restrict the use of smoke grenades due to fire risk. Please ensure that you include plenty of water carrying capability in your loadouts – we will make the effort to get some large bottles of water in for you to refill from as well as selling a range of cold drinks.
Next weekend we will be back at Eversley Camp Bravo for another skirmish event – again, there may be a pyro ban in force as well as needing to chrono all gas guns. Please ensure that you book any rental gear to ensure availability.
Futuretech Airsoft will be at every FilmSim open weekend at Eversley Alphaon both days.
We can help with many tech issues such as hot guns, new buckings etc, and happy to take guns with bigger issues or for any customising/upgrade work, all at reasonable prices. So dig out those guns you haven’t got around to fixing and bring them along. Guns taken will normally be fixed and returned at the next months game or collect from Farnborough.
