Paul of Airsoft Military Simulations) has been in touch to let us know of the latest event to be run by their promising new Mil-Sim company at Bramley Army Training Estate:
Operation Hunters Moon
28/29th October 2006.
Location: Bramley Army Training Estate.
Duration: 24 hours of Milsim.
MI5 have been trailing several suspects thought to be involved in international terrorism over the last few months. Their investigations have led them to a remote disused military base. Here they have found a terrorist organisation that is training new recruits in the art of guerrilla warfare and improvised explosives. MI5 are certain that this group is training these men and women for a terror campaign here in the UK.
Your unit of highly trained soldiers have been selected to move in and eliminate the threat to our national security.
The area for our exclusive use is roughly 170 acres of land, consisting of dense woodland, marshes, rivers, open flats, buildings, aircraft hangers, inclusive of underground bunkers! All you could ever want in one area, I think youll agree.
Throughout the day, youll be undertaking interlocking missions that encourages all forms of game play and problem solving involving intel sourcing missions with agents .
We will also employ the use of three tactical vehicles (one 4×4 flat bed technical with gun emplacement on the rear and two genuine British Army Landrovers).
During the game well be using many different varieties of pyrotechnics and other props to make your day enjoyable (we obviously arent going to give the game away with too much intel, do you expect a full briefing before going to war??).
This event is booking only and is 50 per person for the full 24 hours.
Individuals and teams are welcome.
You will be operating in small units for the duration. Ammo limits apply as follows, Rifleman = 1 bag ammo (4000 rds), Support gunner = 2 bags ammo (8000 rds) and snipers are unlimited. Pistols, moss carts and grenades are unlimited as long as they are pre loaded. (Support weapons are just that, proper support weapons like M249 Minimis or M60s. Also sniper rifles are not AEGs with a scope fitted (Except PSG1 rifles)).
350 FPS MAXIMUM for all weapons. NO exceptions.
Over 18s only unfortunately. Helmets are required at Bramley.
Thanks, Paul (Site Operator, Airsoft Military Simulations)
