Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
We had a fantastic weekend at Camp Bravo with some top quality games run by Matt and an excellent first weekend with Boston as site manager. The players were awesome, with outstanding sportsmanship out in the field, thank you all!
This weekend we will be back at Tuddenham to continue our “Insurgence” series of FilmSim open weekends. FilmSim open days are a bit different from your average skirmish in a few ways: firstly, we have a theme and backstory which you can get involved in if you want. We use bandages to get you back into the action when shot, limited ammo with class based loadouts, longer scenarios with several objectives and a bit of role-play.
We continue the “Insurgence” theme the following week at our Eversley Alpha site – the story is up on both Facebook and the website, so check it out and get involved for extra fun!
There’s an extra weekend in the month, and we’ve filled it with a Cold War FilmSim weekend event at Tuddenham. Episode 30 of our Red Mist series is based in 1984 and is set in Italy, with NATO battling the Warpac forces. There are still tickets available for all teams, with a single day option available on Saturday or a full weekend experience. If you want to get involved, but don’t have the correct kit, get in touch as we have rental weapons available as well as free loan uniforms.
After that, we are back at Tuddenham for the ever popular end of month skirmish. See you all there!
Futuretech Airsoft will be at every FilmSim open weekend at Eversley Alphaon both days.
We can help with many tech issues such as hot guns, new buckings etc, and happy to take guns with bigger issues or for any customising/upgrade work, all at reasonable prices. So dig out those guns you haven’t got around to fixing and bring them along. Guns taken will normally be fixed and returned at the next months game or collect from Farnborough.
