Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:

Hi, Arnies,

Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.

Tuddenham’s FilmSim open weekend was another awesome one – thanks to everyone who came along and got involved!

This weekend we are continuing the story at Eversley Alpha site with another FilmSim open weekend for you to come and join in with.  As always, camping is free of charge from Friday evening, so why not make a weekend out of it?

Next weekend we are back at Tuddenham for the ever popular end of month skirmish.  With shorter scenarios, no ammo restrictions and fast-paced gaming, come and give our mixed woodland and CQB site a go.

Please note that while free tea and coffee will still be available at Tuddenham as usual, we are trying to make things a bit more eco-friendly by encouraging you to bring your own re-usable mug.  If you need a cup, then we will be charging 50p for a disposable one (please hang on to it and re-use it during the day).  When we have exhausted our current supply of polystyrene cups we will be looking to get card ones instead.

Please note that we are no longer permitting lasers to be used at any of our games.  We’ve been very restrictive on them for some time on night games, but we are now putting a flat ban in place. We’ve found over the years than many lasers don’t even pretend to conform to any standards with many not even displaying a standards code on them.  It is also worth noting that most low powered lasers which are marketed as “safe” have the potential to cause an eye injury when viewed through a magnified optical device (eg a scope).  Unfortunately, no matter how sensible you try to be with it, we cannot totally eliminate the chance that you might unintentionally sweep it over a player who happens to be looking down a scope.  If you have one attached to your gun, please don’t use it.

Futuretech Airsoft will be at every FilmSim open weekend at Eversley Alpha on both days.

We can help with many tech issues such as hot guns, new buckings etc, and happy to take guns with bigger issues or for any customising/upgrade work, all at reasonable prices. So dig out those guns you haven’t got around to fixing and bring them along. Guns taken will normally be fixed and returned at the next months game or collect from Farnborough.
