Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:
Hi, Arnies,
Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
Hi All,
I hope you are all well and prevailing during this time.
We have been keeping an eye very closely on the guidance set out for outdoor activities and examining how this will affect our business for some time. It has been a while since we last updated you and we are pleased today to be able to offer a further update on how and when we will be re-opening our sites. It has been really good to hear from you all over the lockdown and we would like to reiterate our immense gratitude for your continued support and patience during this difficult time.
We wanted to write to you to let you all know what we have been planning and actively doing in order to get our sites open and to be able to keep our teams and customers safe. We have been trialling how this will happen, and how we can ensure that social distancing and hygiene will be maintained whilst preserving the importance of a great day out participating in our much-loved activity.
We are pleased to announce that following our successful trialling, we feel that we can re-open from July at our sites. We will need to carefully manage player numbers, therefore initially days will be limited to 30 players. All tickets must be booked and paid for in advance using our website, we believe this to be the safest method for both customers and staff, as well as ensuring that we don’t exceed a safe capacity on the day. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to accept non-booked players on site until the situation changes.
While we are operating at reduced levels, the tickets will cost £30 for the day until we can increase player numbers. We will be making a small number of rental spaces available at a cost of £55 per day. Due to the limited number of spaces, we will not be able to offer either refunds or transfers if you are unable to attend after buying a ticket. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Players are welcome to buy tickets for multiple days, but we will not be offering weekend discounts at this time. Customers will not be permitted to stay on site overnight.
We regret that we are still temporarily unable to offer refunds to persons who have already paid for tickets or deposits, due to the financial position we have found ourselves in during this crisis. We cannot express how grateful we are to those of you who have been so amenable in this matter, without which we may not have been able to re-open at all.
In the first instance, we will be offering to transfer any tickets from cancelled open days to an equivalent ticket at a future open day of your choice. For those who have paid a deposit for a FilmSim/MilSim weekend event which was postponed, we will first offer a transfer to the new date or a credit if this is not suitable. If a refund is still unavoidable, we just ask that you bear with us a little bit longer before we are able to honour them.
We intend for our booking system to be live from the evening of Friday the 12th June for Skirmish Open Days, however any Filmsim open days or events/Milsim games will not be recommencing before August at the earliest until further relaxing of restrictions allows for them. We will also be unable to accommodate non-booked walk on players at open days for the time being.
As mentioned before, to help reduce gatherings there will be no retail apart from BBs, gas and pyro which must all be paid for via contactless card payment. We will have a battery charging station set up, however we ask that you charge before you arrive. There are many other considerations, some of which are outlined below:
· No food and drink will be available, please bring your own.
· Registration will be done outside and please bring your own pen.
· Markings will be made to adhere to the required social distancing.
· Please wear full-face protection and gloves as much as possible.
· Toilet facilities will be available and there is a responsibility on all of us to keep these areas as clean as possible. Hand washing facilities will be stationed throughout the site.
We will only be running skirmish style games, hit and return to a regen flag to get back to action. There will be no props to reduce contamination. We plan to keep everyone in the field as much as possible and have lots of scenarios planned to enjoy and to challenge. The extra safety brief will be added to the website shortly, please inform yourselves of how we keep each other and ourselves safe prior to attending.
We hope that with all of our efforts and the shared responsibility that we all now have, all of these plans that we have put in place will keep us safe and enable us to resume our love and participation in our activity. We will be monitoring this at all times and these plans will of course be subject to change if we feel it may not be working. We value our community so much and with your continued trust and support we will have a successful reopening.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back soon, both old faces and new.

Futuretech Airsoft will be at every FilmSim open weekend at Eversley Alpha on both days.
We can help with many tech issues such as hot guns, new buckings etc, and happy to take guns with bigger issues or for any customising/upgrade work, all at reasonable prices. So dig out those guns you haven’t got around to fixing and bring them along. Guns taken will normally be fixed and returned at the next months game or collect from Farnborough.
