Graham over at IronFoot has news of a new event that they will be holding on the 9th and 10th of July. Here’s all the details about the event:
Operation Thursday WW2 Chindit Scenario:
A full blown night game till approx 2am or later. Game meet time or earlier to pitch tents, 2pm Saturday.
Light CQB for the dedicated on Sunday Morning.
We will have a bring your own B B Q before the switch to the evening part of the event.We will also be running a competition in some form, with a prize of a Web-tex Cross Draw vest black or O/D and other minor prizes.
With SFX provided by a National Expert.
The Game will be modelled on the historic battles between, UK and Japanese forces, with minor US involvement.
These fantastic operation’s were some of the major, but little recognised battles of WW2, and a foundation for much of the modern Commando & SAS type modern forces.
There will be positions available for teams to play as units where possible.

There is flushing toilet, water, and electricity, over night camping or rough accommodation.
We are hoping to have down an expert team of SFX ( special effects) down to play, and to give a demonstration’s
These guys normally do Film work and Big Set War Scenarios with line rocket’s mortar’s and demo charges, so it should work in well, they are also very keen on WW2 re-enactment. They have said they will come, the only factor will be if they are called for Film Stunts, obviously for them this would have precedence.
We are aiming to have this game with full series of real time objective, base camps that you will have to guard, sleep, and brew up at , etc. right through the night, with a separate camping zone for those who need to bug out of the stress.
Game fee if 25 including Glow stick for dead man markers.
Coloured Elbow torches also required for night team ID sold on site or bring your own
10 deposit required by 25 th of June.
There is a limit of 50 players for game quality.We will be using approx 60+ acres of our 300 acre farm for this event part of which was a WW2 AA training site. On the North Cornish Coast
