Well KSC‘s brainchild HK33 AEG is making it’s debut this year and is on the way out shortly. The chaps at AD have it listed as coming out in Japan on the 19th of July at a price of 42,800Yen. The KSC mechanism is designed to be primed before you pull the trigger, plus the action can be charged by pulling the cocking handle back; you can see some of this in the animation on their site.
It’s unknown how much of the mechanism relies upon electronics, or how reliable the end product will be. Given that the product has spent at least the past 3 years in development it should prove to be good. Priced at around 215UKP in Japan, we’re probably going to be looking at a cost of 280-300 UKP in the UK.
Tokyo Marui have updated their calendar pages with a shot of the new TM M14 for this month. If you’re after a new desktop adornment then this might be for you.
