WARNING: These airsoft handguns has an excessively high muzzle velocity and should never be used as a skirmish sidearm for safety reasons. While they do fire traditional 6mm plastic airsoft ammunition, they are intended for use as target handguns and we are marketing them for this purpose only.
WG 1911 Full Size CO2 Airsoft Pistol
This handsome looking full size 1911 from WG is great for unwinding after a long day at the office. It will completely decimate a soda can after pumping only a few rounds through it and will send it toppling pop-top over heels. Drop the hammer on this beast and you will know just from its ear splitting crack that it is packing a punch. This pistol sounds more like a pellet gun going off rather than an airsoft gun.
It is solidly constructed with a wide array of metal parts to include its laser etched slide which is fitted with a fully adjustable rear sight. The only main part on this handgun which is not made out of metal is its railed frame which is made out of ABS and still quite sturdy feeling. It uses a detachable magazine which holds 16 rounds and houses a traditional 12 gram CO2 cartridge. Now while this pistol is a non-blow back so the slide does not recoil when you fire, you can pull it back and manually lock it using the functional slide stop. It also has an open ejection port which is great for when you are cleaning it or if you need to extract a jammed BB. The hammer is functional so this pistol can be fired single action for those precise shots or just let the plastic fly as fast as you can pull the trigger in double action.
WG 1911 Compact CO2 Airsoft Pistol
We were pretty surprised the first time we fired this pistol though the chronograph and once the ringing in our ears had subsided we quickly came to the unanimous decision that this little monster should be deemed the Noisy Cricket. Aside from a thunderous report this little pistol has the power to blow your target into the next galaxy.
It is constructed completely out of metal with the only plastic parts being its cross checkered grips which gives the WG 1911 Compact a hefty weight of 1.7 lbs. It features a railed frame so you can attach a number of accessories to it such as flashlights and lasers. Now, this pistol does not have a bunch of bells and whistles and is overall a very basic gun. The hammer does not move and it does not use a detachable magazine. Instead it uses an internal magazine located in the pistols grip. It is accessed by pressing the magazine release button which unlocks the pistols grip which slides to the rear. This might seem a little awkward although after a few tries we found it to be very quick and easy to reload. This basic and simplistic design makes it very reliable pistol and uncomplicated to use. An excellent choice for a first target shooter or if you just like blowing holes through soda cans. Because trust me, this little hellion can punch some holes.
With a muzzle velocity equal to that of most sniper rifles the WG 1911 Compact hits with over 2 joules of kinetic energy and can unleash shots as fast as you can pull the trigger. While it does not have great range due to the lack of a hop-up system it does well on accuracy at closer ranges. Due to its high muzzle velocity we only suggest using BBs weighing .27g or heavier if you are engaging targets beyond 25 feet as as lighter weight BBs will be unstable and inconsistent at this high of a velocity.
