Madbull 470 production unit test video

by Arnie

I’ve just added a quick test of the production Madbull mechbox replacement that is powered by CO2. The unit is only available in semi-auto at the moment and pumps out around 350fps and will cycle around 200 times on a single 12g bulb. Here you can see the built unit cycle through a standard magazine and then a hicap. Here’s the video:

In the video you’ll see that there’s a flat key that protrudes slightly from the pistol grip. That is the cap that tightens the CO2 bulb in place. The key unit sticks out so you can hand tighten the cap easily to fit a 12g bulb. At the moment that is how the unit comes, however I’m sure that if there was enough demand for a flush unit (for people who want 100% accurate visual representation) and a removeable key or tightening bar it could easily be sorted.

While I remember the new Madbull website is now out, and the front end seen in the video is the new licensed Gemtech TALON, which you can see here.

Please note: Audio is sadly out of sync (so the sounds and the trigger action don’t match up); this seems to be an issue with YouTube converting Quicktime movies. I’ll get a better working clip and upload that later.
