Well it’s finally happened and to be honest I’m surprised it’s taken this long for one of the real steel manufacturers to start legal proceedings for copyright infringement. Arnies Airsoft was sent this statement today by Sam Lam, the CCO of Magpul Asia:
Hi Arnies,
It is an important news just happening in this few days. Magpul Industries Corp. and Falcon Industries Inc. commenced a legal action in the High Court of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region against Classic Army for infringing intellectual property rights of M93B Carbine Stock (Magpul Industries Corp) and Low Profile Rail Cover (Falcon Industries Inc.). Please find the attached “Anti-Counterfeiting Announcement from Magpul Industries Corp and Falcon Industries Inc. for your reference.
Both companies is considering to take further action against the dealers and distributors who are selling and distributing this 2 infringe products.

Falcon Industries Inc. (“Falcon”) is a US-based company which specializes in design, production and sale of rifles and their accessories. It has its own factory for production of its originally designed and invented products. For protecting the interests of consumers and distributors, Falcon now solemnly makes the following announcement:
Falcon is the copyright owner of the following rail cover named “Low Profile Rail Cover”, with model no.4373:-
If it comes to our attention that any retailer or wholesaler sells or purchases or distributes for sale the infringing products of Falcon, we shall take immediate legal actions (including civil and criminal prosecution) against it.
In April 2007, Falcon commenced a legal action in the High Court of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region against the following two defendants for infringing our intellectual property rights and we sought for Disclosure Order ordering the Defendants to deliver all infringing products and to disclose all information regarding the infringement of the intellectual property rights concerned, including the identity of the suppliers and buyers of the infringing products.
