NAM have posted news to us of an event that they are running by the name of Codename: Solitare. All the proceeds for this event are going to a charitable cause, read on:
Clear that schedule for the second Sunday in June, June 10th, 2007. If ever there was an airsoft event important enough to attend, this would be it! Your entire registration fee, EVERY PENNY, will be donated to a worthy cause. All proceeds from registration for Codename: Solitaire will benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The SWOF provides free college scholarship grants, along with financial aid and educational counseling, to the children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.
That’s right, we’re running a straight MilSim Op this time. Codename: Solitaire is a measly $30 a head. $30 for a day’s worth of gaming goodness, the satisfaction of knowing every penny of that $30 is going to benefit a more than worthy cause, plus, your chance to snag some AWESOME raffle prizes like Inokatsu’s M60 MK43 Kit!
