After a period of silence which had got everyone quite worried, I am pleased to announce that Xenobait and Sledge (Organisers of Arniegeddon 06 and 05 respectively) have announced the date and venue of AG07:

This year we are moving to arguably the best equipped airsoft site in the entire United Kingdom. Two Woodlands, 150 Buildings, Professional marshals, Catering and (GASP!) working toilets
I’m pleased to announce that South Yorkshire Airsoft’s PROTEUS CAMP are Kindly Hosting AG07, and throwing the facility and all their know-how behind it (so it’s not like we need Sledge to even come out of his tent).Better yet, With 150 buildings, including a 5 building safezone complex, he won’t even need a tent….
Directions are on the site and it’s a little further north than before, but access is good from A1 and M1.
When:
24th, 25th and 26th of August. Arrive Friday Evening, leave Sunday Evening. It is a Military establishment, so access will be at set times. When booking indicate if you won’t be able to arrive in these windows (info to follow) and we’ll see what we can work out.

Having attended the first South Yorkshire Airsoft game at Camp Proteus, I can heartily recommend the site to all. The site is one of the largest FIBUA games in the north, with roughly 60 acres of Barrack Blocks, other MOD facilities and even woodand. The site is in the heart of Sherwood Forest and yet being on one of the main A roads is surprisingly easy to locate – using the postcode my sat nav took me off the road, down the drive way and right up to the safe zone block!
Whether you’re an Arnies regular or new to the website, all are welcome. This is an excellent opportunity for people with a variety of airsoft experience to meet up, catch up with online acquaintances and then shoot each lots with toy guns. There’s not even a need to pack a tent, thanks to the sleeping arrangement in the safezone buildings. Who could possibly want more?
