AirHard Asylum 2 is the second instalment of live action role play events and continues the morning after the sun has risen on the asylum. The teams have managed to escape the lower levels and into the upper levels of the asylum. Now they face a far greater challenge, they are out of the dark and into the light, only now can they see the asylum for what it truly is. Now the teams struggle on, against each other and the growing threat from ever more patients loose in the asylum. Their missions have changed, and the fight for survival has begun again once more.
All three teams continue their battle to escape, and so doing, to expose or hide the nature of the asylums past. With hardened and barred windows, and doors secured by an elaborate security system they will have to pull out all the stops to survive the day.
Once again we have set out the same game rules, pistol and shotgun only, all ammo will be supplied for you and will be strictly limited, this is done to enhance the gaming event. An interactive and fluid game play that gives you the player a real feeling of being a true part of the event. Pyro shall also be issued in game and any pyro brought onto site, for example BFG’s, shall not be allowed. Smoke is strictly prohibited. All you need to bring along is yourself, your pistol(s) and/or shotgun(s) and your gas or batteries to power your said weapon. Many things however have changed since Airhard to improve the gameplay beyond the first event. We have worked on improving the interactive and role play element, so it shall be even better than the first AirHard Asylum. We have also improved the in game currency system, the player shall still have the ability to buy improved weapons, explosives, and additional help for the team.
Now the teams are into the upper levels of the asylum more patients are loose, and there is even more to interact with and more to explore as we have the great privilege to run this at UCAP Virus in Midhurst, a wonderful disused hospital that gives us enormous space and potential.
Airhard Asylum 2 is being hosted by Delta Bravo on the 1st of May 2011. Airhard 2 shall be a full day event, we suggest that you arrive around 9AM to give you time to get your kit together in good time for the brief.
Event cost is set at £35 for all pre-booked players, and walk-ons shall be priced at £40 and may not have the choice of team selection.
There are severe ammo restrictions in place, as stated all ammo is supplied for the players, however if there are any special need, for example 8mm, then please contact us and we shall accommodate you.
The Event is fully Pistol and shotgun only, although there are AEG’s in play none are allowed to be brought into the game play by the players. If any player does not have a pistol or shotgun to use, we shall be having a on site rental setup. There is no fee for rental but there is a fully refundable deposit of £25 for safe return of the weapon at the end of the day. All rentals shall need to state their need when booking, otherwise we cannot assure you of a rental weapon as numbers of rentals are limited.
To eliminate the need for arm bands or team markers each team has an uniform requirement.
The Police shall be in black or navy blue
The Military shall be in camouflage of any type
The PMC shall be in all other, jeans and t-shirt if you wishRespawns shall not fixed and shall be an in game aspect that will keep the players involved in the game.
Hit rules are that any hit on the body or kit is a hit. Gun hits shall disable that weapon, however there shall be the ability to fix a weapon in game.For full information on the event and for booking please check out the website below.
