Combat Action Games have sent over details of an airsoft training course they will be running on 7th August at their site in East Anglia:
A basic airsoft training course run by experienced airsofters and military trainers.
The day will be a training game day. The day will run with training in the morning starting at 0930. The training will include firing positions, squad attack of a location, pulling a team out after the objective has been cleared and much more.The training will be followed by several games for you to put the training into practice. This games will then be assessed by the trainers and yourselves. Then further training as required.
Training day, 7th august. Limited spaces. £25 a £10 deposit must be paid to book your space. 25 places.
During the you will learn different firing positions to get you a better and more stable shot, you will also learn when it is best to use these positions. From this you will you move on to learn how to take and enemy location as a team using fire and manoeuvre along with contact drills when you reach an enemy location. Once having taken the location you will be able to occupy and hold it even if under fire. Then if you need to you will be able to tactilely withdraw your team under fire.

• Kneeling
• Low crouch
• High crouch
• Standing
2. Fire and manoeuvre
3. Contact drills
4. Securing and occupying a position
5. Searching and checking an objective
6. Withdrawals under fireSchedule for the day, this will be kept to as closely as possible but some times may alter slightly. The lessons will involve some given tuition this will then be followed by practice any of which will involve much activity.

0930 Game / exercise. This will be to help you develop from the course later in the day.
1000 game over this will be followed by a short break
1030 1st lecture and tuition on firing positions and searching an objective
1130 A game which will involve using previous lessons.
1300 lunch
1330 Lesson on fire and manoeuvre and contact drills.
1430 Tactical withdrawals under fire
1445 Final exercise. Your team will have to use everything it has learnt during the day to take on the final challenge of the day in a rolling exercise.
