BB Dragon now have the Viper Tech M16 GBBR in stock, this includes a couple of videos showing the techniques used to make the receivers.
At around 1,250USD these are hopefully going to be some of the best built M16 replicas yet. We’ve not seen them ourselves yet so will reserve judgement till then.
According to their specs they utilise real furniture, so whilst we’d advise checking import regulations in your location, the factory appear to be pretty flexible in what configuration and power the units are shipped. There’s also an additional licensing charge for trades which goes to the licensee (Cybergun):
