First Factory have news of a relatively new laser unit replica from Nitro (a product range from Laylax) called the L77. This laser unit is a class 2 laser (output below 1 mW, 650 nM wavelength). The laser is designed to look like the Surefire L72 and looks to be a custom built body over a standard cheap but reliable laser unit. The price of the L77 is around 12,800Yen, which is miles cheaper than that of the real L72:
The remote switch looks to be of good quality (normally the a cheap remote is indicitive of a very cheap laser unit). The laser includes a mylar lens stick, identical to the Surefire equivalent, designed to keep dust and smoke particles off the lens area from muzzle discharge and training environments.
