Popular Airsoft have announced the winners of the 2nd Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards, we are delighted to have won the Best English Language Airsoft News Website award for the second time, congratulations to all the other winners and commiserations to those who have missed out this time:
After two months of narrowing down the nominees and then voting for the winner per category for the 2nd Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards, we finally announce the winners in each of the categories. We cannot really tell the exact reasons why they won, only that each of the winners is determined to be popular among Popular Airsoft readers who have voted.
A good number of the winners of the 1st Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards have maintained their awards for the 2nd time, and some changes in some categories happened, knocking out the previous winners. Some categories had some close voting and one category, the Best Airsoft Blog, was a lively one, with the finalists making their case on why Popular Airsoft readers should vote for them.
The Best Airsoft Blog category actually gave us an idea of allowing each finalist to submit a write-up or a video on why our readers should nominate or vote for them for the 3rd Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards. This will even the playing field for the next awards as we shall give the finalist a chance to campaign directly to our readers even for just 24 hours. It will be a first come first serve basis, and it will be an optional thing for the finalists if they want to take the opportunity to present themselves at the Popular Airsoft website.
