FCS have sent over details of a Mega Skirmish they are holding at The Mall in Reading this weekend:

Friday:
1900h – participants arrive and set up
2000h – short skirmish-style games, training range open
0000h – beers and movie on flatscreen TV (TBC)
0200h – lights out

Saturday:
0800h – wake-up/arrival
0900h – safety brief, overview, team allocation
1000h – head-to-head game 1
1045h – head-to-head game 2
1130h – multi objective scenario 1
1215h – multi objective scenario 2
1300h – lunchbreak
1345h – kit up
1400h – tac ops
1700h – debrief

Overview: The FCS Mega-Skirmish will incorporate stealthy squad-based gameplay on the Friday night, adrenaline-packed head-to-head gameplay on the Saturday morning, and intense tactical operations on Saturday afternoon. Numbers are kept small to allow players more options in how they tackle their objectives, and our renowned squad-mechanics and emphasis on communication encourages players to work as a well-organised unit (as opposed to a horde of gun-toting kamikazees). An ammo limit of 300 rounds per game also means that players are encouraged to pick their shots wisely, rather than spray and pray. Whether you’re a sneaky ninja, a dynamic gunslinger, or a devious tactician, there will be something at this event for everyone.
