Dear friends,
We are making our last call to all UK Teams interested in joining our Codename: Thunderstrike Tournament on 08 November 2008 at XSite Airsoft, High Wycombe. This is the UK selection for the planned World Airsoft Tournament that will happen late 2009 in Asia.
The main event is an 8-man team tournament in which teams will go through team trials during eliminations and the top teams will then move on to the quarter finals, semi-finals and finals. Trophies and medals await the winners and runners-up and the winner shall have the right and prestige to represent the UK in the World Tournament.
There are also side events for teams in the event of early elimination. A pistol melee and marksmanship competitions are also in store for additional fun to the tournament. Prizes such as airsoft guns also await winners in these events.
The side events are also open to lone wolves who shall be at the event and can test their skills with others. Spectators are also welcome to see and watch the event.
Entry fees for the events shall be £30 per team member, £25 for lonewolves who want to join in the side events, and £5 for spectators. All of these fees already cover a free meal during the event.
We have moved the deadline for submission of entries to 01 November 2008 to allow more time for teams to prepare.
