A high performance after-market custom part by Airsoft Surgeon, the Extreme Light blowback housing is made from 6061 Aircraft Aluminium and only weighs 18g ! That’s even lighter than the previous Airsoft Surgeon Super light weight blow back housing (which weighed 23g), and the factory original Tokyo Marui one which weighs more than twice as much at 43g.
The Extreme Light Weight blowback housing is highly durable too (much stronger than the factory plastic housing from Marui). But most importantly, it delivers a much faster blow back action due to lower inertia. It’s simple physics. Weight is the enemy of speed!

It also incorporates Airsoft Surgeon’s "Super O-ring System" (SOS), which you can compare to the original blow back housing (the black one) to see the difference. SOS delivers a much tighter air seal for stronger recoil. A tight seal is especially important during cold weather.
