Following up from the news of possible Western Arms releases both CQ Studio and LA Gunshop have more details on the upcoming releases, which would confirm what we’d heard earlier last week.
The release are as follows: a SCW S&W1911 at 24,000Yen (in both black and silver), the Beretta M8045 Cougar for 19,000Yen (in black and silver), and the SCW Colt Officer’s V10 Ultra Compact (again in black and silver) at 26,000Yen. All are listed on LA Gunshop as available for reservation for a (as best I can tell) January 2005 release.
There’s also news that an MEU pistol (early model) and a Wilson SDS (Stealth Defence System) model are both currently in development with Western Arms at the moment. They also mention something about Western Arms working on a completely new development model (possible new licensee) and upgrading their current models through 2005 but the wording is hard to make out.
