Spec Ops Airsoft have sent over a statement to clear up some confusion caused by a rumour:
Rumours of our death have been greatly exaggerated!
Hi Arnies! It has just come to our attention that rumours have been circulating about Spec Ops Airsoft shutting down. We, the staff and marshalls of Spec Ops Airsoft, just want to assure everyone that such rumours are completely FALSE! We’re still going strong, currently planning our weekend event for the summer – BADLANDS II – along with several smaller scale events along with our usual Sunday skirmishes. We’ve also been updating our website and the finishing touches are being added now… We hope to have it live very soon!
We have no idea where this rumour originated from, nor do we know how far it has spread, however we do think it important to nip these sort of things in the bud. An airsoft site such as ours relies heavily on word of mouth to attract new players and rumours such as this can be very damaging to our site community.
On a personal note I would like to thank all of our regulars who are setting the record straight on facebook or other social networking websites.
