Flecktarn have sent over details of their Tactical Crossdraw vest:
Flecktarn Tactical Crossdraw Vest at Flecktarn.co.uk.
For skirmishers who want the ideal vest for both mixed urban environment and close quarter in-your-face carry, the tactical crossdraw vest could be the answer. The vest fits around the body like a waistcoat, with chunky zip and quick release buckles on the front, and the bottom is fitted with belt loops for a duty belt to prevent the vest from swinging about under load. Adjustment is over the shoulders and around the sides under the arms. There are three pleat pockets for rifle magazines on the lower right, one utility pocket on the upper right, three smaller pleat pockets for pistol magazines on the upper left and a blank section with MOLLE webbing mounted at 45 degrees on the lower left. The lids for the magazine pockets are fully detachable and can be adjusted for height. We tried squeezing a G36 magazine in the pocket, and it did fit, but was very tight. The pocket is better suited for up to AK 47 magazine size. For the holster, we tried out the Mk23 SOCOM; again, it only just fit, and the strapping was sufficient, but not designed to go quite so far judging by the length of velcro on the back for securing the loose length of strap. We did insert a camelback hydration bladder in the rear, and that worked fine. Photos showing the accessories we tried can be seen on our webpage.
A great starter vest, with enough carry for general gaming, fast action urban and close up, but not designed for survival gaming. Priced only 38.70 GBP each.
