Dear Arnies Airsoft news,

Hi all and welcome to the July and Aug 2014 GUNMAN INNOVATIONS newsletter for East Anglia and Hampshire.

As most of you will have noticed, we have invested in loads of new rental guns and equipment over the last month to cope with all the new players we’re attracting.  Also the shop has just been restocked will loads of new and second hand kit.   If you have any second hand guns or kit you wished to get rid off for cash or credit, them PM josh on the forum www.gunmanforum.co.uk.  Please don’t use FB.

GI Airsoft is growing and we need new sites.
We are offering a £1000 reward for finding us a site that gets turned into a new GI venue.  We need to know the size of the site, what features it has and location.  A telephone number will also be really helpful.

ZOMBIES…..no we have got the rest of the year set in stone, we’re looking at running a couple of Survivor nights in late summer.  Everyone will get a chance to play a survivor and be a Zombie and everyone taking part will be asked to make an effort with kit.  Tuddenham is earmarked for the first one, so keep your eyes peeled;)

RULES OF THE NEW LOYALTY SYSTEM
The Voucher system will be coming to an end in April and the new loyalty card will start to come into use.  Every stamp = £5 discount and there is 6 stamps to a card.  Only one card can be used as a time, but you can trade it in the following weekend you have had it stamped.  You can’t get it stamped and use it on the same day.  These cards can also be used on GUNMAN and FILMSIM events too.
YOU MUST WRITE YOUR NAME ON THEM WHEN YOU GET YOUR CARD OR WE CONNOT EXCEPT THEM.

We are still working on getting the new website developed, but with a new booking system on it way, rather do it all together than one at a time.

GI Airsoft Weekender

August 22nd – 24th 2014

Great Westwood, Kings Langley, WD4 8RS

Arrival on Friday 22nd mid morning onwards. Airsoft Battle Weekend 23rd and 24th.

The Weekender includes an on-site bar and multiple airsoft retailers all with plenty of things to tempt you.

Two days to decide the fate of a country, in this Triple Threat Battle weekend. Government Forces are fighting it out against the Separatists seeking independence, while at the same time PMC forces have been dispatched to the region to safe guard corporate interests from both of the warring factions.

Each of the 3 factions (Government, Separatists & PMC) consists of 3 units;

Assault: The largest and most heavily armed unit, limited to 1,200 rounds per person. Targeted at heavy conflict areas to take and hold key objectives.

Tactical: The second largest unit, limited to 600 rounds per person. Targeted at VIP and asset extraction missions.

Recon: Smallest and lightest armed unit, 120 rounds per person, sniper, pistol and knife. Targeted at sabotage, assassination and intel gathering behind
enemy lines.

Choose your faction, choose your unit, join the war.

REPEAT.
The Gunman International weekend is now confirmed for August 23-24th at our awesome events site just off Junction 20 of the M25 at the 400 acre site at Westwood.  Full event details will get added as well as all the advertising media over the next month.
It will be a 3 way scenario with 3 HQs for the teams to work out from and massive piles of objectives dotted all over the site for units to get their teeth into.  Full game rules will get added to the Official Gunman forum and FB page and group in the next few weeks.  Im meeting Jim from Gunman Midlands next week on site so we can finalized the game rules and what we’re going to put on.
Price wise, the first 200 tickets will be set at Only £50, the next 100 will be £60 and the last 300 tickets will be 70.  It will be £85 on the gate.
We have also already been approached by a number of Quality retailers to join us and help support the event.  Also there will be a bar on site and catering for those that  cant be bothered to BBQ;)
We’re also looking for Sponsorship from any or all of the airsoft media’s out there;)

Tuddenham news
Awesome is all that can be said.  Work is commencing on site to do a clear up and rebuild soon and should see some new CQB areas set up.

Norwich news
Continued repair work is going on at Norwich.  This is all community lead stuff and great work guys.

Eversley news
Still pushing out 30-40 players a day with top quality Milsim scenarios.  It doesn’t get any better.

North West Sites
We have a new woodland to add to the massive Arsenal of Gunman Northwest, guys in the south…you need to visit the grim North and witness the burning beacon of Gunman;)

Word from the front
Thanks as always to all the GI staff and the new guys, taking up the reigns as Marshalls.  We have had over 50 new players to Gunman in July, which is mad and awesome.  The most powerful medium for GI is word and mouth, so a big thanks to all the guys biging us up and helping to stay at the top of our game.
