Gunman News letter Nov – Dec 2014
Hi all and welcome to the Nov – Dec 2014 GUNMAN INNOVATIONS newsletter for East Anglia and Hampshire.

The end of the year is quickly approaching, Christmas games have been organised and 2015 dates for both Gunman and FILMSIM games are all up. Our new loyalty incentives are in force from the 1st – introduce a friend to Gunman and you’ll get an extra £5 stamp ☺

Gunman would also like to welcome Badlands Airsoft into the Gunman family! They are based in South Hampshire with a 100 acre multi-terrain woodland site. Check them out on their website http://www.badlandsairsoft.co.uk and on FB.

We are still offering a £1000 reward for finding us a site that gets turned into a new GI venue.  We need to know the size of the site, what features it has and location.  A telephone number will also be really helpful.

ZOMBIES – Saturday 25th Oct at Tuddenham

As it’s the weekend before Halloween it would be rude not to ;-)
This will be a 3/4 hour night game in the village and there will be Zombies!

This is going to be a pistol and/or shotgun, maybe some larp weapons as well. Guns will be placed in a box (mags full) another crate with some bb’s and final box of larp weapons. All three will be place in the village and you’ll need to find the guns/larp weapons before you can start fighting. Extra ammo crate will also need to be found as you’ll need to reload!
3 lives only (whole game) once they’re gone, you’ll be a zombie as well (shufflers with plenty of camp please) ;-) however there will a doctor who has a vaccine, find him or her, and you’ll gain back another life.
The object is to survive to the end!
Oh and better mention, it won’t be just zombies on the hunt that night….

RULES FOR THE LOYALTY SYSTEM
Every time you pay full price to play you’ll get a stamp. Every stamp = £5 discount and there is 6 stamps to a card.  Only one card can be used as a time, but you can trade it in the following weekend you have had it stamped.  You can’t get it stamped and use it on the same day.  These cards can also be used on GUNMAN and FILMSIM events too. Please remember to come to the desk at the end of the day to get your stamp! We’re doing this as so signing in can be done as quickly as possible, so we can maximise on daylight playing time – after all ‘Winter is Coming’…
YOU MUST WRITE YOUR NAME ON THEM WHEN YOU GET YOUR CARD OR WE CONNOT EXCEPT THEM.

Tuddenham news
Work is continuing at Tudds, with a site build on the 2nd of November, new Chrono and firing range being built. Any help will be most welcome, See here for the ‘im coming to help’ listhttp://www.gunmanforum.com/index.php?showtopic=12834&page=0

Also from November, every 3rd weekend of the Month, we’ll be running a MILSIM day on the Sat and a Pistol and Shotgun day on the Sunday.

Norwich news
We have reduced our days to just one MILSIM day a month. We feel this is best to build the community back up here. We have lots of competition in the area on Sundays but we are the only ones doing MILSIM scenarios. Once word gets out, we’ll be back on for full weekends again.
New safe zone has been started with some walls for the shop and we should have a few more shelters made for the next game.  Idea is to create enough cover for 40 guys to get out of the weather on a game day.  We’re getting there.

Eversley news
So many new feature have been built in the field, huts and small village complexes are popping up every month.  Still pushing out 30-40 players a day with top quality MILSIM scenarios.  It doesn’t get any better.

North West Sites
We have a new woodland to add to the massive Arsenal of Gunman Northwest, guys in the south…you need to visit the grim North and witness the burning beacon of Gunman;)

Word from the front
Our Marshal team is one of the best in the UK, but we have got to ask a bit more from them.  As of the 1st January, all Marshals MUST be available to cover 1 day a month at their local site and be prepared to Ref part of the day if needed.  As with all things, as the sites grow and new blood arrives, we need to make sure our presence is felt in the field.  We can only maintain our awesomeness by the Marshal team, but we do need to ask for a bit back.
