So what’s been happening today at the usual places? Well Classic Army have updated their pages with details of another new high capacity battery, this time for the G36 series. The battery that they previously released is indeed for their new crane stock replica that’s designed for their M15 range (and compatible rifles).
The new G36 battery is a 10 cell 12V 1700mAh pack, and custom shaped to fit inside the G36 series foregrip. No price is listed as of yet.
Over at Noda Ya there’s a shot of the new Tanaka Super Red Hawk 9.5 inch in “twilight chrome” (.454 casull model). They are out of stock of them already, but you may well find it elsewhere. The revolver is a standard 16 shot PEGASUS gas setup with a 16 shot capacity priced at around 25,000 Yen. If big revolvers aren’t your thing (and if they aren’t.. why not?), there’s also the M49 Bodyguard model from Tanaka too. The action and mechanism used is almost identical however it’s in a smaller frame with a much shorter barrel. Price for the .38spl is around 16,000 Yen.
Over at Boom Arms they have a stock of the Guarder AKS-74U steel kits in stock at 780USD, and a new custom MEU pistol priced at 625USD. Check their new items page for a list of all the latest stock.
Before I forget Mark (RPG_Commando) has dropped over a link and news to a SOPMOD M14 styled rifle that is doing the rounds at the moment (I think their story originated over at DTI from a thread at EverTarget). The rifle is a replica of a Troy Industries SOPMOD model, and you can find shots of the Airsoft promotional material here and here. Given that there are production versions of the M14 on the way out it seems odd to release a complete rifle now rather than making a kit for the AEG (if it arrives) or a GBB version (when they arrive) later this year.
