Gunman Airsoft are having a little bit of trouble with PayPal at the moment:
Dear Arnies Airsoft news,
We have been having problems with PayPal over the last two days, we are trying our best to sort it but are currently unable to receive payments via PayPal until we can get it resolved.
Anyone wishing to book for a regular weekend game is more than welcome to pay on the day in cash. Please ensure you email us if you will need rental equipment.
Basically a new piece of US legislation requires all international banks (including paypal) to report all US business and citizen transactions to the US government. As we are a UK business, we are exempt from this, but we have to fill a form out to prove exemption (apparently our UK address isn’t enough proof the the US government).
Sadly, PayPal have not sent us this form so we have been unable to fill it out. As a result they have locked our account and we cannot receive payments until a form has been filled out. We are still in communication with PayPal but they seem to be unable of sending the form out.
We apologise for this issue, rest assured we are hassling them every day until they sort it. In the meantime we cannot accept PayPal or card payments (as PayPal is our card processor). Payments can be made in cash on game days or via direct transfer (email or phone for details).
Thank you all for your patience and understanding, all being well we should be back to normal in a day or two.
