Welcome to another year with Gunman Airsoft and congratulations to all those who spotted the “intentional” error in last week’s title which heralded the end of 2016 before it had even started…
Now that you’ve all had a weekend to yourselves, it’s time to get back to some airsofting! Don’t forget, we are running a promotion for the whole of January to attract new players to the sport by offering a free rental package worth £25 to any first time airsofters at our open events. All they pay is the standard £25 walk-on fee and for BBs. If you know anyone who might be interested in trying the sport, bring them along.
We’re kicking off the new year at Tuddenham with our Milsim Lite/Filmsim style weekend this Saturday and Sunday – games last all morning and afternoon with a break for lunch and use the Filmsim ruleset with limited ammo, bandages and multiple objectives. We also have a game on Saturday night – this will probably be the last one until Spring, so come down and give it a try – it’s only £15 or £10 if you’re playing Saturday or Sunday.
Next weekend we’ll be back at our awesome Eversley site for a weekend of airsoft shenanigans in the woods. It’s a great site with loads of features, and more importantly a great community.
Camping is free for the weekend if you’re brave enough (or have had enough beers not to care) and we have a caterer on site doing hot food.
We also have a build/clearup weekend at our Norwich site next weekend – we’d really appreciate your help and you’ll get a free game at February’s event weekend as well as all the coffee/tea you can drink plus lunch while you’re working. See below for details of what we need from you.

Norwich Build/Clearup weekend 16th & 17th January
For those of you who have been following the progress at our Norwich site, we have finally had the thinning operations carried out. They’ve left the place in rather a mess, so we need to get down there and do some basic clearing up. Most of what we need will involve clearing the branches that are remaining , clearing the car park/safe zone area as well as having a general tidy up and repairing any damaged features.
Unlimited tea and coffee will be provided over the weekend, as well as free walk on for the February 6th & 7th skirmish and milsim games. I will also bring bacon and hot dogs.
Please dress for muddy work and bring gloves/saws/shovels etc if you have them.
