WE Airsoft have sent over details of their new 1911 Gen 2 series:
The WE 1911 series is getting a complete overhaul and will be released in the new Gen 2 style.
Externally, a new surface treatment for this Series uses the latest electroplating process, with the silver finish closely resembling “stainless steel”. A waistband holster is also made for the new 1911.
Internally, the new Gen 2 has a larger 15mm cylinder as compared to 14mm in the old models, providing more recoil. It also comes with a functional mock firing pin, extractor, re-engineered hammer and trigger assembly and many other new features to make this true classic pistol even better.
