Gunman Airsoft newsletter week 18 2016

by News Fairy

Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:

Dear Arnies Airsoft news,

We had a great weekend at Tuddenham for our end of month skirmish with over 100 players across the weekend.  The weather held out for us and there were plenty of new faces as well as some very old ones.  It was brilliant to see several new airsofters on both days as well.

This weekend we are running the latest episode of our Red Mist cold war saga, seeing a change of location to Tuddenham after the NATO guys have finally been pulled out of Hirta.  This is a pre-booked ticket full weekend event and is very much a role-playing feel, if you are interested in attending any of these events, full info can be found on our forums at gunmanforums.com or by searching for Red Mist on Facebook.

The following weekend we are back at Tuddenham again for our mid-month FilmSim event – if you want to try getting involved in the next step in airsoft without the commitment of a full milsim/role-play weekend, come and give this a go.

You can play a single day or the whole weekend, there’s a story, scenarios are longer, bandages are used for respawns and limited amounts of ammo may be carried in the field.  We still stop and take a break for lunch, and although role-playing is strongly encouraged, it is not a requirement.  You are welcome to bring any realistic gun you like (two-tones are fine) and camping is free for the weekend.

Just a reminder that we have a skirmish weekend at Tuddenham as usual at the end of the month, but are also hosting a MilSim experience day run by Okto Eight MilSim on the bank holiday Monday 30th.  This is a pre-book special event replicating counter-terrorism operations.  Two teams will take it in turns to plan and execute short, dynamic operations against a crew-based enemy force.  The crew force are purely there to give the players the best experience possible and will stay dead when killed.

There are still some places left for this unique experience day – search for Okto Eight Milsim on Facebook for more details and to book.

Regards,

Josh Smith (Gunman Airsoft)
