Another great weekend at Eversley –many thanks to everyone who came down and played. We’ll be back again next month – story to follow.
This weekend we will be hosting another Okto Eight Milsim event at the Hertfordshire site – we are still looking for crew members to help out on the weekend – this will involve some shooting this time as pretty much everyone is a combatant.
If you’re interested in helping crew get in touch – we don’t charge crew members and you get fed as well as having great fun.
Next weekend is the Halloween weekend and also end of month Skirmish at Tuddenham. In addition to the usual skirmish fun we are putting on a special night game on the Friday night – a survival type game where players will be trying to pick their way past all the freaks/zombies/psychos/whatever in the dark to get to the (relative) safety of the buildings. Once there, they will have several objectives to complete with very limited weapons available.
Everyone will be given the opportunity to play as survivors and freaks, freaky fancy dress is highly encouraged for everyone. We will supply the majority of weapons although you are welcome to bring any melee weapons you may own (assuming they are LARP safe obviously).
Weapons and ammo will be in very limited supply – if you want to spray a load of plastic around then come and join us on Saturday or Sunday for our skirmish games. We will be on site from Friday afternoon, camping is free all weekend.
Don’t forget that we will be playing the first of our regular monthly FilmSim games at the Top Dog Paintball site just outside Norwich on Sunday 6th November. The site is huge and it would be a shame to have to use small areas at a time. In order to run the kind of epic battles which the site is crying out for, we need plenty of players, so come and help us out and bring some friends too.
We are running at a reduced price of £20 walk on for the first few games to help encourage more people to try the site out – we will also be accepting loyalty vouchers for a £5 discount meaning you only pay £15 if you’ve played with us in the previous couple of weeks.
The site has excellent facilities, including plumbing, flushing toilets and catering, so is especially suitable to those people who like to keep a bit of comfort close by. If you want catering, you need to let us know in advance as they buy their meat and bread in fresh.
