Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:
Dear Arnies Airsoft news,
We’ve got a cracking weekend in store for you at Tuddenham with another FilmSim style open event. With bandages, long scenarios and several objectives this offers more immersion and realism than a skirmish, without sacrificing the casual feel and the all-important lunch break. We will be looking at bringing themes back to our mid-month FilmSim games soon, we would love it if people could get on board and make the effort to dress for a team if possible.
Next weekend we return to Eversley for a scenario set in the Japanese forests with ghost operators looking for intelligence regarding the disappearance of a large number of US nationals and others. With the story developing as the weekend progresses, every player action will affect how events unfold.
We are also back at Norwich on Sunday 18th with another FilmSim open day at this excellent site. Ticket price is £25 on the day and £20 if booked in advance or with a valid loyalty voucher. Hot lunch packages can also be ordered in advance via the event page on our website. We’re hoping to get the 4×4 with GPMG all fixed up this week, if so then it should be making an appearance at this event.
Regards,
Josh Smith
Gas & Spring Event
We’ve just announced a special on-off gas & spring event at Tuddenham on Bank Holiday Monday August 28th. The game will be a themed one featuring the Bloods & Crips gangs from Compton LA and the LAPD. Spaces are limited and will be available to players aged 16 and over. Limited rental guns are available for this event.
Ticket sales will go live next Wednesday on the event page on our website http://www.gunmanairsoft.co.uk/event/straight-inta-compton/ and are first-come-first-served only. There are plenty of spaces for gang members (we have paisley bandanas for ID) but we are only releasing six LAPD spaces.
UKARA
The new UKARA database system is up and running (finally) and we will be going through all the renewals and new entries from the last couple of months and ensuring they are on the system. This is likely to take us a couple of days, so please bear with us while we get it done. There will undoubtedly be several teething problems over the next week or two – if you get any weird emails then let us know so we can help them with any debugging that needs doing.
