Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:
Hi, Arnies,
Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
We had yet another awesome weekend at Tuddenham – thanks to everyone who came along and joined in. We’ll be back for another skirmish weekend at the end of March.
This weekend we’re taking a break from airsoft, but if you need your fix, Team Green Airsoft are running a weekend at Tuddenham, they run smaller, themed games so booking is essential.
Next weekend we will be back at Tuddenham for our monthly FilmSim weekend – longer scenarios, multiple objectives, bandages to get back in the game as well as reduced ammo carrying capacity makes for a more realistic experience.
Don’t forget that we are also running a Cold War Operations weekend at Tuddenham later in March. This is somewhere between an open FilmSim weekend and a full weekend event. We have been running a Cold War series for several years now and have many regulars who make a full weekend of it. This is a chance for anyone interested in the series to come along and have a go in small doses and see what it’s all about.
We have free loan uniforms for those who don’t have the right kit – we also have limited rental weapons. You don’t have to have an SLR to take part – if you have a more modern weapon, then it does need to be disguised to help keep the immersion (rail systems and crane stocks on M4s can be covered with scrim for example) the game is based in the early to mid 1980s, so try and go for a look from around that time.
We won’t be getting totally anal about kit if it’s your first time, but please bear in mind that this is a special, themed event, not an open walk on day. As such if you turn up with MTPs and a pimped out M4 you will not be allowed to take part. If in doubt, get in touch with us before the event. Places will be limited and need to be secured with a deposit paid via the event on our website.
