Latest and greatest on the ‘net today

Tom Andrews sent me the link, but what with masses of email to get through and generally not enought ime to add everything I want to at the moment I’ve only just around to digging through and spotting the photos. Eagle Force have an interesting product on their pages. Tired of your boring battery dischargers that look like well, a battery discharger? If so then look no further as these guys have a handy discharger that is built into the shape of a grenade with a standard RC battery connector on the back.

ArmsCool shop in Taiwan have the new Armotech OPS M.R.P. CAL.45 pistol in stock now, and also have a few shots of the new product. The OPS M.R.P. .45 is a very close copy of the TokyoMarui pistol but with some improvements such as an integral rail and full metal frame/slide set and will (as far as we can tell) happily use TM magazines and accessories.

Of curious note is that Armotech LLC (a US company) have now changed their corporate name (and thus their website DNS) to the more confusing name of Ariakon Paintball. There’s nothing like changing your corporate identity to confuse your customers – time to update those links chaps. Thankfully the actual manufacturers of the product can still be found at Armotech.net, however their forums are hosted over at Armotech.us, which seems to be a different website again. Confused yet? Yeah me too. Even more confusing is that the new 5.1 pistol isn’t listed anywhere that I can see either on Armotech’s pages or their own forums. Is this a paintball company keeping quiet that they are making some quite nice TM knock offs in the background? I’ve not got a clue myself, so I’ll drop them an email later on and see if there’s anything news worthy about the release from them.

If you’re desperate for every bit of news about the Tanaka S&W 500 revolver release ClubMichelle have a small review of the pistol online now. there’s not much point translating it as normally there’s nothing of huge substance in their text other than the factory specs.

The product manual for the Guay & Guay M14 release has been released to the net in PDF format and can be downloaded from their own pages. The manual is 3.95Mb in size and their servers don’t seem to be that fast at the moment (possibly due to everyone grabbing a copy). If you don’t want to download the PDF, I’ve converted the manual into GIF format for you below:
