Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:
Hi, Arnies,
Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
Huge thanks to all the players and marshals who came to Tuddenham at the weekend – we had a huge turnout, and the sportsmanship and play was absolutely fantastic! The large turnout on the Saturday has caused us to consider whether we will need to begin capping player numbers on our skirmish weekends as we enter the summer and require players to book on.
Josh and Doug will be discussing this over the next few weeks and we will advise you all of any changes via the newsletter & Facebook pages. If/when we make booking mandatory for skirmish games you will have to secure your place by making a deposit on the website event page. If there are spaces left they will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis on the day and we will have to turn people away if there are not sufficient spaces left.
We have always tried to accommodate non-booked walk-on players who turn up on the day as we would hate to disappoint people and turn them away if we can squeeze them into a game, however the simple fact is that Tuddenham can only support a finite number of players without compromising the awesome experience you have come to expect from us.
This weekend we have no airsoft events of our own, our partner Team Green Airsoft have a game at Tuddenham this weekend if you need your fix – please contact them directly if you are interested in their event – booking is required as their games are themed.
Next weekend we are back at Tuddenham for our mid-month FilmSim open event – this month we will be playing a game along the lines of Battlefield’s Conquest mode, with teams fighting for control of fixed points in the game zone, with timers to display who has controlled them longest. Our FilmSim weekends use bandages to get you back in the game, limited ammo loadouts and scenarios which last the whole morning or afternoon allowing you to play the way you want.
The weekend after that we will be back at Eversley for another FilmSim open event – check the Facebook event page for further details, but expect another themed weekend with multiple objectives, long games, bandages and limited ammo as well as an excellent social feel. Camping is free of charge from Friday evening as usual.
