Eastern Bloc Loving
Another week, another batch of shiny new products arriving in store! This week we have broken the norm and received quite a large shipment of AK rifles to the Store as we felt we needed our AK Range to Rival our Selection of M4s as you can’t have one without the other! The AK Platform provides another iconic weapon for your arsenals with setups to suit both you classic AK lovers and the Modern AK Lovers alike.
Golden Eagle AMD65
Kicking things off we have quit an oddball member of the AK Family – the Hungarian AMD-65 made by Golden Eagle. With its unique front grip and folding wire stock, the AMD-65 is a real head turner! This version from Golden Eagle features solid full metal construction with exception to the Pistol grip and forgrip which are both made of a rigid polymer. The top cover can be removed to reveal the battery compartment which runs along to the top of the weapon – perfect for long Stick type NiMHs and the much smaller LiPo batteries. With the classic AK fire selector located on the side of the receiver and the adjustable rear sight the AMD brings its own unique flair to the AK Platform.
Avengers M-Style AK
Moving onto something more modern we have the Avengers M-Style AK. Based Upon the original PTS/Beta Project AK this is one of the most Tactical AKs out there. This AEG Replica features a mixture of Metal and High Quality plastic/polymer parts in its construction to comply with Japanese law. As a result of this the weapon overall is both lightweight but also sturdy with hardly any wobble to it. This Uber-Tactical AK features a rail system up front for your optics and accessories alongside a retractable M4 style crane stock in the rear. The ambidextrous charging handle can be pulled back to reveal this AEGs adjustable hop up unit. Feeding from a Polymer AK style magazine, this AEG will also accept other types of AK style magazines.
Cyma AK105:
Moving away from the Classic wood we have the Modern AK105 from CYMA. This solid AEG is a great choice for you modern Russian players. Built with a solid full metal construction the AK105 keeps things modern with high quality polymer handguard and pistol grip to give this weapon the tactical look. Alongside this it also features the Paratrooper Style folding stock making it compact for both transporting and for those tight spaces when needed. Despite its somewhat plain-jane appearance, the CYMA AK105 does feature the AK Style side rail to allow the mounting of Russian style Optics or even a simple RIS Rail up top for those pesky Western Optics.
CYMA TAC-PMC AK:
Another tactical contender for those of you who aren’t a fan of the Avengers M-Style, we have the CYMA TAC-PMC. A variant of the popular and well made Cyma CM028 (AK). This AEG features a plastic lower receiver, with a nylon polymer front handguard and multi-positional stock. Adorned with RIS Rails the CM028 provides a great platform for customization, allowing the user to set up the rifle to suit their play style. Whatever you need, Scopes, Torches, Laser sights this AEG will handle it!
CYMA AK47S
Moving away from the Tactical we have a more bare bones AK from CYMA – The AK47S. This AK sports the more traditional look with the addition of a metal under folding stock to create a weapon perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. With full metal construction and faux wood furniture up front the CYMA AK47S is an AEG for you classic AK lovers.Whether you’re playing the bad guy, or just want to stick it to those Armalite users, then this might be the gun for you.
E&L AK AIMS
Last but not least we have one of the nicest models of AK on the Airsoft Market. If you want realism, then its time to look at an E&L. The feel of an E&L AK is on par with the real thing.Made of Stamped Steel with a gorgeous Blued finish alongside real wood, an E&L AK is not just an AEG, its a thing of beauty. In store we carry the E&L AIMR, one of the Smallest AK’s they can offer. With no stock and a short front end, this AK is short, vicious and perfect for getting stuck into CQB. With a fore grip built into the wooden furniture, this stubby AK fits snug in the hand and feels like a true weapon of war. A Flock of Ravens…?
Alongside our AK shipment we have also got some nice new Raven Gas blow back pistols in store! These Full metal GBB pistols are both affordable and feel great in the hand, with the added fun of the realistic blowback action. At this moment in time we now stock both the Raven EU17 and the 1911/MEU in a variety of colours. If you’re on a budget but are dying for a gas blow back pistol then we’d highly suggest a Raven.
Raven 17
The EU series of pistols is one of the most popular and well known types of Pistol on the airsoft market – Much like the Humble M4 everyone and their mum has one – Simple and easy to use, these pistols are perfect for both beginners and experienced airsofters. Here in store we are stocking the Raven EU17 in a number of colours! If you want to keep things tactical we have the standard full black, or if you feel like you need more tan in your loadout we are also carrying the Tan Frame version. For those of you who prefer Bling we also carry it with a Silver slide (Bad Boys 2 Anyone?) and also in Two tone blue for those of you who want to kick off your first game with a pistol by your side.
Raven 1911/MEU
Alongside the EU17s we are also carrying another Well known Handgun model – The Raven 1911/MEU. A modernized variant of the classic 1911 Pistol, the Raven MEU swaps out the traditional wood grips for black "Golfball" texture grips alongside an enhanced beaver tail safety and Slide Serrations to aid cocking of the weapon. Feeding from a 15 round single stack magazine the Raven MEU is a slim and comfortable pistol to handle. This full metal replica is available in both a full black finish and for you bling lovers it also comes in a duel tone variant with a Silver slide!
