To simulate live fire function after exposure to blowing dust, we loaded five each USGI Tan Follower and PMAG GEN M3 magazines, dusted them for two hours with TOP and MIL-STD specified dust, and then full auto live fire tested them in an HK 416.

The APS HYBRiD Gear Box is a new bench mark in the airsoft industry due to the fact it offers a reliable electric blow back function with a locking bolt catch and to make it even easier to upgrade it uses a quick change spring guide. The electric blow back function uses the movement of the piston to pull back and match the cycling of the piston to add the realistic bolt movement. This does not strain the motor or gears in any way since the moving bolt is a light weight alloy and the reinforced gears that are housed in 8mm steel bushings are ready for a lifetime of shooting. the HYBRiD gearbox is producing over 360 fps with a .20 Echo1 BB and can be easily be upgraded or downgraded with the quick change spring guide. This AEG might be IDENTICAL to another M60 that retails for a lot more, but it is the best M60 you can get under $500 hands down. All the reviews will tell you so simply because A&K is the OEM manufacturer for all the other M60s on the market. Which means "better performance" at a "better price".
It is reliable, realistic, nicely finished, accurate, powerful, easy to upgrade/repair and super affordable (considering the not as good models used to retail for $1000). This M60 is a replica of the heavy machine gun used by U.S. special force troops in real combat to supply heavy firing. It is equipped with a super capacity box magazine and is commonly used to secure an area or to provide serious heavy firing in Airsoft combats.

The A&K M60 is full metal with built in bipod and redesigned 8mm gearbox and hop-up chamber. It is an out of the box ready to go heavy firing support machine gun! The TOP, CA and other M60 normally costs from $600 ~ $1000 without the box magazine, reliability and upgrade-ability!

So this winter i will be building test builds and seeing what parts work with what in order to give you a good winter pistol. I apologize for messing up on the whole valve knocker/BBU thing. I was a bit short on time which is the reason i’m stuttering a lot throughout the video.

Also, just after finishing the edit on the video, i learned that the nineball router works by making a tighter seal in the gas port above the mag, which keeps gas from escaping.

Also, just after finishing the edit on the video, i learned that the nineball router works by making a tighter seal in the gas port above the mag, which keeps gas from escaping.

Not reliable in several outings, this Sig 1911-22 was sent back to Sig. Upon its return it did much better. This saga along with the results of all the outings is covered in this detailed Nutnfancy tabletop review on this 1911 .22 option. Competing against .22 1911 conversions like TacSol, Kimber, and Wilson Combat, this RTR .22 is made in Germany by GSG and marketed under the Sig name. It is functionally identical to other GSG 1911-22s. Different colors are offered. At 34 ounces, it mimics your centerfire 1911 well, with similar balance and ergos (discussed). Some low points in the design include a non-positive safety, a weird cupped beavertail, a magazine disconnect safety, proprietary slight dovetails, and of course errant reliability (until fixed). But in action we found the 1911-22 to be extremely accurate and fun. No a substitute for the real deal, the Sig .22 offers much improved economy and some practice with the 1911 form factor. Firepower is adequate at 10 rds though the Umarex produced 1911-22 beats its with 2 more rounds. Compatibility / To Determining the inner barrel length you need:

Discontinued from a Cabela’s-only run comes a limited edition Kershaw Fixed Blade Skyline. I have watched this blade for awhile but previously was unimpressed by its value level. Things change with this video because the price dropped a lot. It is indeed a fixed blade version of our Hall of Fame Kershaw 1760 Skyline by in house designer Tommy Lucas. Obscure and unknown in 2008, that knife was made a worldwide favorite EDC choice right here in TNP. This fixed blade version offers similar utility at just 2.8 oz (knife only), 4.4 oz total carry weight. And yet it’s thicker and stronger than the folding Skyline: .013" vs .009" thickness. Steel is the fine grained 14C28N Sandvik and it arrives with excellent edge and geometry. Colors in this run include the bright international orange and black, both with stonewashed blade finishes. The G10 slabs are tractionable and the full tang has been melted for smoothness. A lanyard hole is useful. A complete lack of jimping is an ergonomic miss but it’s easily rectified as shown. The leather sheath holds the FB Skyline tightly and is well stitched. As with most fixed blades, I’d prefer a lighter and waterproof plastic sheath. POUs are discussed. For multi-person trips this is some of my favorite cookware: the GSI Outdoors Ketalist. It is a 1 Liter backpacking kettle and comes with a nesting and insulated cup and bowl set. Heck, there’s even a spork (I never use it). In two years of testing I find this combination ideal for heating up larger quantities of water and cooking anything that will fit inside. Made of "Hallulite" an anodized aluminum, the Ketalist w/o the thick wire bail weighs 10.4 oz. Sometimes this weight isn’t doable due to SAWC constraints but when it’s hiked in you’ll be glad you have it. On the stove it is stable and heats up quick. The lid keeps out debris and minimizes heat loss. Cost is reasonable. For single person trips I also review and discuss the Snow Peak Trek 700 titanium cup and lid, much lighter and compact. We saw an unbelievable 86 people attend our game this past Saturday. It was awesome to have so many new players and to see some players that haven’t been out for a long time (Ben, Wesley, and Chris). We also had a few folks show up out of no where, having stumbled across the event on Facebook.

The numbers presented a new set of challenges. It took a while to get rentals and lunch fees sorted, and the chrono station seemed to be constantly busy. I was real eager to get our first game started right at 10:00, but it ended up taking forever to make teams. Next time we will use a random system for deciding teams to speed up the process.

As it turned out, Alpha was stacked with veterans, and it took some real arm twisting to pull players onto the Bravo team. Thanks to Rooboy, ThunderMidget, and TheKaz for helping balance the teams.

The first game of the day was a simple "kill em all," and Team Alpha dominated Bravo. The second game, capture the flag, was a bit more balanced, ending in a draw. In the final minutes Alpha pushed for the win, but just couldn’t reach their objective in time.

The third game, domination, ended with Alpha finding and holding two out of three positions. The third position was never discovered. In the final game of the morning, Alpha had no luck tracking down the Intel, and ended up with zero Intel feeds. Too much time spent shooting, not enough spent searching.

After lunch we played the same games, but changed field positions. Both the "kill em all" and flag games ended in draws. As per the morning session, Bravo held two of the three positions during domination, while the third remained undiscovered. Team Bravo managed to find an important piece of Intel during the fourth game of the afternoon, and looked like they might end the day long campaign as the winners after successfully gaining access to the bus in just over 5 minutes. Not to be outdone, Alpha staged a massive attack on the strongly defended bus, and managed to take it in less than two minutes. After a final round of "kill em all" to end the day, it became obvious to all that Alpha squad would finish Operation Thunder Riot the victors.

Again, a huge thank you to everyone that came out to play. It was great to see so many new players, and to catch up with those of you that we haven’t had the honour to play with in some time.

We hope to see you in 2013!

Just as a note on this set of gear, this is all stuff I use in CQB but if I was playing woodland then nothing much would really change. I’d go with lower profile set of eye protection and if it was winter then you need to consider what boots to go with a bit more carefully whereas indoors you can wear anything. But otherwise I’ve found all this stuff works really well for me in basically any standard ‘open day’ skirmish game.

Alright guys, was at HSP Combat Center, saw a pretty new tm stock and a somewhat older we 4.3 stock and wanted to help people out in realizing the difference between both of them. I see a lot of shady people on craiglist/facebook forums saying its "TM parts" but sadly when I get the pictures (to help my friends out) its not. A: For GOPROs, 90% of the time, they will be fine if hit by a bb, the other 10% they will crack. but that is why they sell replacement lenses for the gopro housing, so that a cracked lens is only an approximately $15-20 fix.

Q: could u do a dan mount hooked to a vest? -DaRealPrinceofPinoys
A: It is possible, but you would have to weave some sort of sturdy base for the magic arm to mount to so that it would not be flopping around. another thing to consider is that the motion of your torso and chest are some of the most actively moving, and jarred areas of your body when running; so having a camera mounted to your vest has the potential to become very blurry when moving quickly because of that high movement when compared to something mounted to your head, or something you are holding.

– Traditionally guns without the spring release needs to be put into semi and fired twice to "hopefully" release the spring.
· Functional Bolt Catch
– Pull back the charging handle and press the bolt catch to hold the bolt in place (hop-up adjustment). When you hit the bolt catch it will release the bolt plate just like a real gun.
· Pneumatic Blow Back System (G&G Patented)
– Pneumatic System is better than a mechanical system as it does not put a drain on the battery or have troublesome mechanical failure. Easy replacement if needed.

We shot empty USGI Tan Follower and PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 Magazines to show how both perform when punctured. We used a .300 AAC Blackout as the "puncturing" platform. We then loaded (to the degree possible) both magazines and full auto live fire tested them in an HK 416. To more realistically simulate a more likely occurrence, we should have shot through loaded magazines, but then, you’re obviously going to have stoppages from the damaged rounds. This demonstrates that the deformed metal from the puncture on the USGI both limits follower travel and catches on the spring, preventing reliable feeding. The clean hole through the pmag just provides a small window view of your cartridges feeding normally.
