Mike at Elite has sent over news there’s a new skirmish site opening up in Lancashire set to open on the 24th of April 2005:
Elite FireZone: Following on from the success of Elite Shooting Centre & Elite CQB in Burnley Lancs
A new woodland skirmish site, is set to open, Elite Firezone is set in 50 acres of wooded farmland on the moors near Nelson Lancs. With rolling grassland, woods, valleys and streams, it will offer skirmisher a great opportunity for close up and dirty CQB or an ideal venue for long range warfare, perfect for the snipers among you. The inaugural game is set for the 24th April 2005.
The site has 3 wooded valleys each with a stream; these bisect the grasslands and create 3 plateaus. Various bunkers & firebases are in the process of being constructed, and hopefully be ready for the1st game on the 24th April (dont worry if they are not, there will still be plenty of ground to fight over). Hot & cold food will be available on site, tea & coffee (which is free) will be on the go all day.
We hope to run games every fortnight normally on a Sunday, but are open to bookings any time.
Costs will be 20.00 per person, and you will need to pre book (walk on charge 23.00)
Guns, clothing and masks etc will be available for hire at very reasonable prices.
