Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
Tuddenham’s SANTA vs ELF FilmSim was yet again another great event, thanks to everyone for getting involved – especially Saturday’s crowd who got drenched but still kept their spirits high!
This weekend we are taking the Xmas theme to Eversley Alpha – fancy dress is totally optional, but highly encouraged! We will be issuing red and green silly hats for team recognition. As the general plan revolves around collecting presents it would be really handy if you could all bring a couple of fake presents if you can. Even empty boxes for us to wrap up will be helpful, as the more presents, the more objectives for you all to fight over… There will also be a social on the Saturday night, so feel free to stop over and join us.
Next weekend is the last one of the year, and as is our custom, we will be running our annual “Who Ate all the Pies?” skirmish weekend at both Tuddenham and Eversley Alpha sites. Running on Saturday and Sunday at both sites, the games will be short and dynamic, with fast respawns to give you all a chance to work off all those extra calories from the preceding week…
After that, it’s 2020 already! We will be back at Eversley Bravo site as usual for a skirmish weekend, so come and get involved.
Just a reminder as we are well and truly into Winter now, we DO NOT cancel games due to poor weather unless it would be too dangerous to play or we are unable to get to site – if you are unsure, please feel free to call us. If you want to wait until the morning of a game to decide whether you will attend (we get it, not everyone wants to play in the cold and wet), feel free to book a “pay on arrival” walk-on ticket on the website. You don’t need to let us know if you change your mind and it won’t cost you any extra on the day – it really helps us to plan the games out however.
Futuretech Airsoft will be at every FilmSim open weekend at Eversley Alphaon both days.
We can help with many tech issues such as hot guns, new buckings etc, and happy to take guns with bigger issues or for any customising/upgrade work, all at reasonable prices. So dig out those guns you haven’t got around to fixing and bring them along. Guns taken will normally be fixed and returned at the next months game or collect from Farnborough.
