Airsoft Pyrotechnics has put ot details of the 7th generation of their TAGinn grenades.
Here we go! The new 7th generation of the TAGinn grenades. What has been changed compared to a previous generation?
1. The new soft polyurethane material for the tips of “Pecker”, “Reaper”, and “Fate” rounds. This tip making these projectiles even safer. The “Fate” round will bounce and go off just 20-30 cm out of the target.
2. “Reaper” and “Fate” are now equipped with 5 seconds fuse instead of the 4.5 seconds one. It gives another 25-30 meters of the effective range to both of these projectiles. Now you can launch them on up to 190 meters. “Reaper” 3.5 seconds is still available, though.
3. No more Green Gas for “Fate”, Reaper”, and “Velum”. We have even discontinued the “Shell EVO”. The new mechanism is designed to be more reliable and safe, so it needs more energy to ignite the fuse in heavier projectiles like these two. The green gas shells will only work with non-pyro projectiles.
4. Our hand grenades are now more reliable in terms of the timing. No possibility of the early or late detonation after safety lever release.
5. FBG6 3.5s is discontinued; we have FBG6 2s instead.All these changes will apply in May 2021.
