Shot Show 2011 – Is Cybergun too cool for this Airsoft fool?

by News Fairy

Tom of Airsoft Obsessed and the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog has been writing about his dealings with Cybergun (or lack of) at this year’s Shot Show:

Maybe.  Maybe not.  I mean, they definitely didn’t hook me up with anything too exciting that they had going on.  In their defense, I am, technically, a very small fish in a very large Airsoft pond full of much larger “fishes.”   I know that fish is both singular and plural but sometimes I like to break the rules to feel like I’m “living on the edge.”  Anyway, I wouldn’t expect them to know who I was or anything, but still.  If someone comes up to your booth and says, “Hey you.  I’m from teh interwebz.  Tell me your story!”  Wouldn’t you automatically know that you should probably talk about the important stuff just in case he or she might turn out to be somebody cool and/or awesome?  It’s like that scene in Aladdin where Princess Jasmine is disguised as a commoner in the market and tells that big scary dude not to cut off Aladdin’s hand and then the big guy is like, “who the heck are you, peasant filth!?”  And then Princess Jasmine says, “I’m Princess Jasmine!”  Errr…wow.  Anyway, I’m not saying I’m Princess Jasmine, but I do feel like I’m a “diamond in the rough.”   John Lu of the famous OP: Lion Claws Series, Irene & others, along with the lovely Ksenia (aka Angel 1), were humble enough to have their photo taken with me whilst I lurked around Cybergun’s booth.

So I really don’t know what the deal was with Cybergun.  But the bottom line was, they missed out on the opportunity for me to say nice things about them.
