This video shows one thing: The Panasonic GH2 is better than any other DSLR or M4/3 camera on the market when it comes to video quality, even without hacking the bitrate of the camera. Compared to my Canon 600D, the Panasonic GH2 footage shows much more details, is sharper, has virtually no moire/aliasing issues and allows to crank up the ISO without having as much noise.

The "Pop Lock Knot": a means of connecting two cord ends quickly and securely for loading or general use, that also allows separation (while loaded or not) in a split second; even if the tyer’s fingers have been compromised by cold weather, fatigue, or injury. Magpul Industries Corp. sponsored rally truck for the 2011 Breslau Adventure Rallye built and run by Couch Off-Road Engineering, was the first-ever American team to participate in the brutal rally. With more than 300 participants, the "Breslau" is the biggest motor sport event for professionals and amateurs of the off-road and all-wheel drive scene in Europe and the second biggest in the world after the Dakar Rally. The annual rally began in Breslau, Poland, on June 25 and end in Dresden, Germany, on July 2.

Los profesionales del sector Airsoft tuvieron una cita de obligado cumplimiento el primer fin de semana de marzo, durante la celebración de la tercera edición del Área AIRSOFTPRO en FICAAR-SCI 2012. Bajo la dirección de ODYSA PRO, cerca de una quincena de mayoristas y empresas de servicios de sector, dirigidas específicamente a los puntos de venta y al público profesional, desplegaron la mayor oferta de productos y novedades dirigidos al sector.

De la mano de los mayoristas Pielcu S.L. y Verlac V. Distribuciones un gran stand expositor presidía la entrada al Área AIRSOFT PRO. En éste, el equipo comercial de Pielcu S.L., y Martin Brylet, Jefe de Venta Internacional de ASG, nos deleitaron con la magnífica presentación de las últimas novedades del fabricante y distribuidor danés.

Por encima de todas las novedades el Asymetric Warrior® [ASW338LM] destacó a todas luces. El rifle de francotirador, además de su espectacular diseño y construcción, ofrece un amplio abanico de configuraciones que estamos seguros que hará las delicias de los jugadores más exigentes. En la parte histórica el M2 Carabine blowback de Co2 en Madera y metal obtuvo muy buena acogida. Otra presentación destacada fueron los revólveres de CO2 Dan Wesson con cañones de 2,5 y 6 pulgadas respectivamente, en negro y acero, de construcción completamente metálica, que albergaban en su tambor cartuchos metálicos donde portan sus BB. En la gama de pistolas la CESKA ZBROJOVKA 75 RSS blowback nos sorprendió expulsando los casquillos a cada disparo. No podemos dejar de hablar del nuevo MP9 A3 de CO2 blowback de B&T, en negro y TAN, que consiguió la admiración de todos quienes lo probaron durante las permanentes demostraciones que el equipo comercial de este expositor no dejó de realizar constatando la calidad de sus productos en la galería de tiro dispuesta por la organización.

GreenBB de GREEN AIRSOFT
Unos de los mayores stands expositores del Área AIRSOFT PRO albergaba una patente española de ámbito mundial. Greenairsoft, de la mano de su director Enrique López presentaba la GreenBB, una nueva munición que acaba de salir al mercado y busca distribuidores mayoristas en nuestro país. La presentación decía textualmente "Perdigones 100% biodegradables" para la práctica del Airsoft. Sorprendió por sus demostraciones a quienes se interesaron por conocer el producto. Las bolas fueron probadas, inspeccionadas, quemadas y aplastadas para la demostración de sus únicas propiedades.

Greenairsoft cedió 20kg de munición a la galería de tiro para que todos los profesionales pudieran probarlas y su rendimiento fue perfecto. Durante su inspección se mostraban con una esfericidad perfecta, sin rebabas o deformidades. Entre lo más interesante de las demostraciones se encontraba la quema de bolas. En el stand se quemaban bolas supuestamente biodegradables de marcas competidoras junto a las GreenBB de Greenairsoft. Sorprendía como unas olían a plástico quemado y se ennegrecían, mientras que las GreenBB recordaban al azúcar quemado. Aplastando las bolas con un martillo la bola se aplastaba sin desprender partículas.

Over the weekend I met up Tom Harris of Harris Media who also writes for Pyramyd Airsoft’s blog. Great guy to be around and all around funny-badass. Fortunately for me my band of "junkies" came out to enjoy the day of airsoft with us making for some awesome action. Sorry for the whining noise it was coming from the fan on my Revision Locust goggles. Next time I will take that into account when playing.
