Daniel from the Airsoft GI Sales floor recently took the Lancer Tactical MK18 to Tac City South to play some CQB. Daniel has been playing airsoft for a long time and has quite an impressive collection of airsoft guns. His goal was to see how competitive and fun airsoft could be with a sub $100 airsoft gun and he was pleasantly surprised. Traxxas Rusler VXL with Brushless Motor running on an 11.1v Lipo or 8.4v NIMH batteries. It is a very fast truck, but with some simple adjustments, I can make it usable..

As the Title says, this is version one.. I will try to get video from this setup this weekend and share with you all.. If it sux, I will scrap the project, if it works, I will improve it..

My eventual setup will have servos to change the position of the camera remotely.. I know it can be done, and I will make it work..

Chances are the knife in your pocket is dull. Really dull. I know because I’ve seen it! But like automobile maintenance, keeping your blades in top operation form should be a priority. Otherwise it will let you down when you might really need it. I start off the vid by showing you my own medium capability hand sharpening skill on a SOG Gov-Tac. It’s ranks about a 6 out of 10 for impressiveness. But not the Edge Pro Apex sharpener. This is a solid 10, the best sharpener I’ve ever found. The EPA is a compact and easy to taking along manual sharpening system that REALLY works. Much hype has accompanied other sharpeners and I’ve been disappointed in each one on most levels. They don’t’ come close to the capabilities of this one. Here I take you for the sharpening ride with the awesome Microtech SOCOM, somewhat dulled after TNP cutting tests. With its S35V steel, it’s a perfect test bed for this exercise. Covered in this reference Nutnfancy vid: philosophy on sharpening (and the sometimes elitist controversy that surrounds it), setup, sharpening angles, technique and practice, stone selections, gotcha’s, and the many upsides to the Edge Pro Apex. Once practiced you will find you can get "in and out" of the EPA quickly and will simply be astounded with the results (shown in detail here). It has the ability to sharpen small, very large, flexible, curved, and even serrated knives with the proper technique. This is also where I recommend buying this $245 Edge Pro Apex 4 kit btw…tell him Nutnfancy sent ya’! Yes that is a sizable sum for a sharpener but value is delivered here: US produced, durable construction, and most importantly, you will produce edges on this easy to use machine that have previously eluded you.
