There’s two new products out on the Laylax webpages at the moment. First up is the Twister Goggle set which they’ve had on their “coming soon” list for some time. The Twister Goggles feature a wide double layer (anti mist) lens set that increases peripheral vision. They guarantee that if you keep the lenses clean, they’ll stay mist free.
Marked with ‘LETS’ on the goggle straps they are obviously primarily intended for the various Law Enforcement Training Systems that are available. The goggles themselves can easily be removed (say during downtime) from the mask system, and the mask itself is rubberised and designed to be resiliant to blunt force traumas. The goggle/mask set comes in a pouch, combined with team markers and additional foam padding and are available in both black and OD. Price is 12,800 Yen for a set.
Next up is a varient of their V900 (SureFire M900 copy) under the Nitro.Vo brand called the “Strike Head Version“. RRP is 29,800Yen, and is shown fitted to the new TM M4s model (such is the fashion at the moment). Featuring the same body and fitting as the previous version the only difference is the reflector assembly, which from the design looks like a wider angle beam system.
There’s also a new “SPR Green Beret SEALS” type handguard for anyone that’s not jumped on that particular bandwaggon yet priced at 18,500 Yen. Combined with their other SIR products you should be able to make a pretty rigid product out of this piece.
