Now for something a little different. My laptop started having a video card overheating issue. It started showing vertical green lines. Later it just went black and became unusable. It got so bad I was ready to recycle the laptop. As a last resort I decided to try baking the video card. It worked! I decided to video the process and share the results to help others who are having similar issues. All I can say is that it worked for me.

I baked it for 10 minutes at 390 degrees Fahrenheit.

G&G Brings the latest iteration of the tried and true combat machine series. The MK18 MOD1 by Combat Machine is a nice addition from G&G’s line of affordable and high performance airsoft guns. Externally, the MK18 MOD1 features a polymer upper / lower receiver as well as a polymer free float rail interface system. Not only will you be able to mount all your needed accessories, but the overall weight of the gun is decreased. Besides the traditional adjustable crane stock and A2 pistol grip, this is a well round performance airsoft gun for indoor, close quarter, outdoor, and long range environments. Internally, this MK18 is equipped with a high performance yet reliable gearbox. The steel gears and polycarbonate piston provide durability of the main drive train components. The polycarbonate ported piston head and brass cylinder provide a better seal leading to a more consistent output. Overall, this a well built airsoft gun with a plethora of features at an affordable price. G&G has done another excellent job in manufacturing a more versatile yet affordable product in the airsoft industry.

In 2013 3-Gun Nation released a series of "classifiers" which were created to test your skill with rifle, pistol and shotgun. Created to be replicated in the smallest of bay sizes, these simple tests were built for maximum participation across the country. This video demonstrates the 3GN Classifier known as "Flying by 1".

Tom puts the Magic Box Miracle Inner Barrel to the test in his Elite Force HK417 AEG. Using a stock inner barrel and hop-up assembly as the benchmark, he compares the Magic Box Miracle Barrel against it in both a chronograph test using .20g Elite Force BBs, and a range test at roughly 45 yards on a 12" x 12" steel trap target using .28g Elite Force BBs.

The range test was not perfect and in hindsight, a vice should have been used to mount the rifle when firing to eliminate any shooter error, but at the time this video was shot, a vice was not an available resource. Despite that shortcoming, Tom does feel these results are valid and provide a reasonable expectation of the performance results other shooters can expect to see once they have PROPERLY installed this barrel in their own Airsoft AEG(s). If you’re still skeptical about the results, you are encouraged to do your own testing and draw your own conclusions. It is recommended that you have a qualified airsoft technician install your barrel to ensure that your results can be relied upon. There are no particularly special techniques to installation of the Miracle Barrel, as it is very similar to a standard AEG barrel. You simply need to make sure your hop-up is seated correctly and that you have a good air seal.
