Just a quick demo of my modified 447nm 1W Spartan from Dragon Lasers. Eye protection was worn, if you view the spot with the naked eye then you will suffer eye damage, direct exposure or a reflection or divergence can also cause eye damage, treat lasers like you would a loaded firearm. It runs at 1.6W nowadays using a different diode 445nm-447nm (M140). It lights matches from several feet easily. I’ll be posting more with better lighting soon, so stay tuned.
